It’s day two of the CIB PSA World Tour Finals, with another six pool matches to come from the EDNC SODIC in Cairo.
Reigning World Champions Nour El Sherbini and Ali Farag fought back in their opening matches last night to go to the summit of Group B, defeating Nour El Tayeb and Paul Coll, respectively.
Defending Champion Mostafa Asal kicked off his World Tour Finals with a 2-0 victory against Victor Crouin, while the top seed in the women’s draw, Nouran Gohar, emphatically notched an opening round win over Nele Gilis.
The action continues today as Joelle King and Georgina Kennedy go head-to-head in the opening match of the evening, before Gohar and Hania El Hammamy renew their rivalry.
In the men’s draw Tarek Momen, who’s stepped in to replace the injured Marwan ElShorbagy, takes on Mohamed ElShorbagy while former World No.1s Diego Elias and Asal lock horns.
