Tinne Gilis, Satomi Watanabe, Sivasangari Subramaniam and Amanda Sobhy have completed the eight-player field for the women’s draw of the SmartCentres PSA Squash Tour Finals 2024-25 after the conclusion of the British Open and the recent injury withdrawal of World No.3 Hania El Hammamy.
The four players will join Nouran Gohar, Nour El Sherbini, Olivia Weaver and Amina Orfi in competing for the season-ending silverware at the SmartCentres’ Revival Film Studios in Toronto between June 23-27, 2025.
After recording a quarter-final finish at the British Open, World No.6 Gilis returns to the Squash Tour Finals for a second successive year, while World No.7 Satomi Watanabe and World No.8 Sivasangari Subramaniam are set to make their event debuts after finishing in the top eight in the Road to Tour Finals standings.
With World No.3 El Hammamy being forced to withdraw from the PSA Squash Tour Finals due to injury, ninth-placed Amanda Sobhy will occupy the last spot in the women’s field. The 22-time PSA Tour winner will return for her fourth appearance at the event, following a semi-final finish in her most recent appearance at the PSA Squash Tour Finals in 2022.
The SmartCentres PSA Squash Tour Finals 2024-25 will be held in Canada for the first time in the event’s history when SmartCentres’ Revival Film Studios in Toronto hosts the world’s leading squash players for five days, between June 23-27, 2025. Live action from the SmartCentres PSA Squash Tour Finals will be streamed via SQUASHTV, while the semi-finals and finals will be shown by the PSA’s broadcast partners.
