Orfi, Elias, Coll & ElSherbini Among Confirmed Qualifiers For PSA Squash Tour Finals

Following the conclusion of the PSA World Championships, the line-ups for the season-ending PSA Squash Tour Finals 2026 have started filling up, with just three qualification spots in both the men’s and women’s draws still available.

In the men’s event, World No.2 Paul Coll, World No.4 Karim Gawad, World No.3 Diego Elias and the new World No.5 Youssef Ibrahim have all joined World No.1 Mostafa Asal in securing their tickets to Paris for the last major event of the season, which will take place between 17-20 June and be available to watch live on SQUASHTV.

Despite Ibrahim having qualified, the Egyptian confirmed that the World Championships would be his last event of the season due to a shoulder injury, which in turn, will likely open up a further position for another player further down the standings.

If Ibrahim weren’t to compete at the Tour Finals, French No.1 Crouin would subsequently have his spot in the top eight confirmed via his current points total, as he aims to win his first-ever major event title in front of his home crowd in Paris.

With the likes of Jonah Bryant and Mohamed ElShorbagy also struggling with injury of late, the race for the final spots in the men’s event is heating up ahead of the British Open.

Meanwhile, World No.3 Amina Orfi, who last week became the youngest women’s World Champion in the history of the sport, has secured her spot in the PSA Squash Tour Finals alongside World No.2 Nour ElSherbini, World No.4 Olivia Weaver, World No.5 Sivasangari Subramaniam, and the previously-qualified Hania El Hammamy.

The final three qualification spots are currently occupied by World No.6 Satomi Watanabe, World No.7 Fayrouz Aboelkheir and World No.8 Georgina Kennedy. However, the likes of the Gilis sisters and Amanda Sobhy are still on the hunt for a top-eight finish ahead of the Diamond-level British Open, where plenty of points will be on offer.

To qualify for the PSA Squash Tour Finals, players must win a prestigious Diamond title, whilst the reigning World Champions also qualify automatically. Any remaining places are allocated to the players who fill out the top eight spots in the Road to Tour Finals standings, with points on offer at all PSA World Events during the season.
