The action continues from The Mall of Arabia tonight as day two of the CIB World Tour Finals gets underway from 19:00 (GMT+2) with another six exciting matches taking place in front of the Cairo crowd.
Women’s World No.1 Nouran Gohar opens the day’s play as she takes on USA No.1 Amanda Sobhy in both of their opening matches in this year’s event. The Men’s World No.1 Ali Farag follows that match as he takes on man in form Diego Elias, who won the last World Tour event in Mauritius without dropping a game.
Both World No.2s Nour El Sherbini and Paul Coll feature in tonight’s play as they take on the No.7 seeds Rowan Elaraby and Joel Makin respectively. Coll will be looking to bounce back after his opening round defeat to Tarek Momen and get back on course to progress to the semi-finals.
Closing out the night’s play will be an all-Egyptian clash between defending Champion Mostafa Asal and No.6 seed Tarek Momen. The latter overcame a huge hurdle in his opening match, beating Coll in three games and will be determined to carry on the form into tonight’s match.
