Semi-Finals shaping up …
The third day of Group matches at the Mall of Arabia, and some some more semi-final places decided.
Top seed Nour El Sherbini sealed top spot in Women’s Group A as she made it three wins out of three, while Group B remains open after wins from Camille Serme over Nour El Tayeb, and Hania El Hammamy over Amanda Sobhy.
Men’s top seed Ali Farag came from a game down to beat Diego Elias and clinch a semi-final place from Men’s Group A, while Marwan Elshorbagy beat Joel Makin to seal a spot from Men’s Pool B, and Paul Coll ended the hopes of Tarek Momen to set up a round three decider against Makin.
