Egypt’s Tarek Momen has pulled out of the CIB PSA World Tour Finals due to a heel injury.
Momen’s withdrawal means that his opponent tonight – World No.1 Ali Farag – will receive a walkover, ensuring he will take a 2-0 win, giving him the maximum four points offer and guaranteeing that he tops Group B of the men’s event.
The other match in Group B will see No.3 seed Mohamed ElShorbagy go up against No.5 seed Paul Coll, with the winner of that fixture joining Farag in the knockout semi-finals.
