The last matches of the Xbox PSA World Tour Finals group stages await today, with all 16 players battling it out for their respective spots in the semi-finals of the season-ending event in Bellevue, Seattle.
Play gets underway at 14:00 (GMT-7) from The Boys and Girls Club Hidden Valley Field House, with every second of action available to watch live on SQUASHTV.
Four players have already qualified for the semi-finals, with Egyptian trio Nour El Sherbini, Ali Farag, Nouran Gohar, as well as New Zealand’s Paul Coll all currently sitting at the top of their respective groups with two wins from two.
However, the remaining four spots in the next round are still up for grabs, with Olivia Weaver and Nele Gilis facing each other with qualification on the line, and Georgina Kennedy and Hania El Hammamy squaring off for second position in Group B.
Similar scenarios await in the men’s event, with Egyptian duo Mostafa Asal and Karim Abdel Gawad ending the day’s play with a sudden death shoot-out to qualify from Group A. Meanwhile, qualification from Group B alongside Coll will be between Tarek Momen and Mazen Hesham. If No.7 seed Momen defeats Coll in their clash, he automatically advances to the last four, but if the former is defeated, it leaves the door ajar for Hesham to potentially qualify with victory over current World Champion Diego Elias.
